Sound Engines

The DrumComputer comes equipped with 8 individual 3-layer synth engines, allowing you to design, shape, and sculpt powerful drum hits. The depth modulation area provides envelopes, LFOs, and a complex modulation matrix, enabling you to change most parameters using a wide array of sources. The DrumComputer also features cutting-edge noise table conversion technology, as well as a filter, distortion, and side chain compressor.

Sequencer

The DrumComputer's sequencer offers smart randomization capabilities that allow you to create patterns that feel natural and organic. You can add a touch of swing and humanization to enhance the groove. Additionally, you have the ability to move various parameters along with the notes, including velocity, pitch, decay, probability, roll, and offset.

Kit Page

With the Kit Page feature, you can bring all your individual sounds together in one place. This allows you to select new sound presets or even generate random sounds based on different sound type profiles. It's the perfect way to give your drum kit character, punch, and an analog feel.

Mix

The DrumComputer provides a comprehensive mixing section with volume controls, mute and solo options, panning capabilities, as well as two reverb return channels. You can send any of your sounds to these reverb channels at any time and also assign mixer parameters as modulation destinations. You have the flexibility to utilize the Room reverb for a familiar space that helps glue together multiple drum sounds, while the Hall reverb offers a massive space to add depth and dimension to your sounds.

Mapping

The Mapping feature allows you to create up to 16 individual patterns and chain them together into a sequence of up to 16 patterns long. You can easily switch between patterns on the fly using your MIDI keyboard or controller. The Mapping feature also enables you to quickly add or remove individual hits, trigger rolls of different speeds, and use them as pitch modifiers.

Auto- and Manual Remixing/Fills

Add some flair to your patterns with the auto- and manual remixing/fills feature. With just a simple parameter adjustment, you can create all sorts of automatic and random edits to your drum sound. This is a great tool for adding creative fills and variations to keep your loop constantly moving with fresh ideas.

Wavetable/Resynth Import & Sampler

The DrumComputer offers the ability to import your own audio files to create custom wavetables. You can also utilize the resynth import feature to resynthesize hihats, snares, and even chords. Additionally, you have the option to switch to sampler mode and play back samples in a more traditional manner.
